I dedicated to document the everyday lives of people living in far-flung countries often in the midst of war and political upheaval. I am interested in capturing the trials and tribulations of those people who still hope, smile, and dream often in the face of unimaginable horrors. This is where the idea for my latest photo exhibition – Colors of Afghanistan – was born. This series of photos portray Afghanistan and its people, not through the lenses of war and violence but through the emotions, aspirations, and everyday struggles that define all of us as humans. Most of all, my photography is about feelings and the transmission of those emotions to the world.
